Hey forumites,

Was just hoping someone could help with some images of a Pre-FL Octy vRS (preferably a hatch) in blue that has the FL version Neptune alloys fitted. I've tried google images and a search on here but drawing a blank...! Ideally if someone has had the colour changed to anthracite that would be even better for me to see

Just want to know how it looks, mainly from the front corner angle as I guess the rear is virtually the same on the Pre-FL as it is on the FL.

Any opinions on whether Zeniths or Neptunes look better on a Pre-FL vRS? I'm debating swapping out my 17" Zeniths for some OEM 18"s but can't decide which and also hoping I don't loose out on handling or ride comfort, any opinions on that?!

So please, show off yours or someone else's motor!

post a side on pic of your can and a similar side on pic of a car with the wheels you want to see on yours, and i'll photochop them on for you.

Neptunes suit the pre-facelift so much more than Zeniths (just my opinion). My red vRS is sat on Neptunes with a 35mm drop and it looks more aggressive than 18" Zeniths on the same springs.

Problem is photos don't seem to do them justice!

This is my facelift. I think it is only badges and rear lights that different to yours.

I'll get front on side angle shots of mine at the weekend. It's currently hiding in the garage until then.

I can't believe more people haven't got Neptunes on a Pre-FL?! I thought I'd get flooded with pictures, any excuse to show off their motor etc...!

found an old photoshop of a blue pre-fl i did a few years ago for someone else on the forum.  these are vmr's but you get the idea of the anthracite against the blue - looks good i think.

 

Oooo yer nice, that is very shiny, and low! The anthracite does look good, I really like those wheels...! Think they were quite popular to put on Z4's along with CSL reps. Cheers Rob

Here's a race blue with black neptunes.

As another user had said all that's different is the rear lights.

Mine isn't a pre FL though sorry.
