Yes dd are expensive but you get a good product.

My car is currently running about 285/290 daily driver, but New tune going on soon so hoping for more. Still daily driver too. :)

I'm not convinced of that at all there are better or equal products on the market that are cheaper

DD are hoping folk don't go elsewhere by flooding every site and every forum with their stuff, yes there is stuff they only do but some of it is sickly over priced

1 example is there S2000 air filters and silicones hoses **** Turpin springs to mind!!!

I don't doubt they get the numbers but it is all very false advertised in my eyes, and having seen 3 sets of the workmanship so far it is shoddy beyond belief, missing bolts, reused gaskets, rough as you like tools thrown all over the engine bay

There will always be there die hard followers, I'm not anti DD just people should look elsewhere and compare

If they get the numbers, how is that false? By all means have a moan about cost and workmanship if it's crap. Would be better with direct testimony from the owners of those cars.

Their cars get the numbers I meant sorry, they advertise kits making so much bhp are capable of such much bhp

But out of the 7 cars I know that run DS kits not 1 does the numbers advertised, it's always you need this you need that extras

The lads I know of don't use forums, 1 in particular if very well known in the vauxhall scene, he has had no ends of continuing little annoying problems with his, my best mate after 1 day after having his fitted there where 2 inlet bolts missing 1 exhaust the flange from manifold to turbo leaked.

This will always start a discussion as there will be hardcore DS followers, I'm just saying to folk look around there are other options cheaper and better before handing over your cash to DS!

Perhaps I come from a unique perspective where I have a lot of their product, but it gets fitted locally by my trusted mechanic.  I am the opposite end of the country but I have had clutch kit, hybrid 2260vk, manifold, exhaust, all from them and all well made/worked.

that might be DS biggest downfall, is there spanner skills!

i don't doubt there manifolds are very nice and there exhaust fabrications too, they have unique products which makes it easy for folk to just buy off the shelf that have little spanner skills themselves or don't have the room to do there own work

i myself do all my own spanner work (except the mapping) i found unless its their own products they turn there noses up!!!

They simply weren't interested in even making me a downpipe for my turbo setup when i asked, so made my own for £75

i would love to run my car on their dyno but they aren't exactly wanting my setup to do better numbers than theres might, but then again it could be the other way round!!!
