19" alloys

Recommended Posts

What size tyres are you running on your 19s
I have just aqquired 5 x BBS Speedlines last week all 8.5" with ET48 offset but they sadly came with 255 35 19 which is just too big
They are at powdercoaters atm so going to get some tyres online asap...thinking 225 35 19

Thanks for your advice

I fitted 235/35/19 on my Speedlines, ET33, 9J. Have a click on my build thread ;) However, I may fit 215's on the front as my Octy VRS MK2 will be lowered on coilovers.

Thanks for the comments
Im starting to think with the good offset I have on these wheels it may be wiser to go for a 235 35 19 in the hope it will aid for a comfier ride and help when the inevitable pot hole crops up when coilovers go on

Anyone running 235 35 19....do they look too beefy a profile

I wouldn't recommend fitting 235/35/19's as they will definitely rub the arches. I got rid of my 235's and fitted 225/35/19's all round on my 19' Speedlines. 215's will be even better as you won't get any rubbing. What springs or coilovers you have fitted?

235 35 19 Altenzo with ET48 does not rub ,it has settled a little bit now and still no rubbing, rear will be lifted as I dont like the way it sits
Had 2 people perched on boot lip which would easily equate to 3 people in back of car and not a bit of rubbing either so I am happy chap as I wanted tyres to help add a little comfort to an already firm ride while helping protect wheels a little from potholes etc
