Imobilizer

Featured Replies

Dear friends!

Imobilizer was deactivated due to damaged motor and comfort controler. They are replaced by the same type. What is the procedure to activate it?

Thanks!

Thank You Mike!

But there is no need to remove the ECU or other controller out of the car, right?

the ECU & modules are coded whilst fitted in the car. Has the engine ECU or instrument cluster been changed? because that's where the coding is for the immob, not in the comfort module

Sorry, didn't tell all about it.

All of the controllers were changed, ECU, gateway (instrument cluster), comfort controller, steerwheell...

But, the immo had to be deactivated, because the engine started, although gateway and comfort were damaged.

Anyway i understand, i will go to the authorized service back!

Thak You!

with best regards!

One more thing,

a guy with wag-com programmed my keyfob to remotely open the car. From that point there are problems with ignition.

Sometime the engine starts, and sometimes not. I know that immo and central locking are two different systems, but it happens from then.

Or it has something to do with the fuse F51 (http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/310880-fuse-f51-octavia2/)?

Thanks!

I mean the VCDS...

I have found out, that diesel pump doesn't start, so the engine get's no fuel and wont start. I've checked the relay's, wiring, seems to be ok.

But there is a moment, when engine starts....

Could he cause inconsistencies when programming?

what year is your octavia?
