French Offers on new ones

Featured Replies

Ad today, 4 yrs guarantee and 4 yrs free servicing  -  whats going on? maybe the French are trying to sell more of the marque as I never see many out and about!!

Can go one better!  Got home from work this evening, to find phone message from salesman who sold me my current Yeti, telling me about the offer and inviting me (and, no doubt, hundreds of others) to 'prendre un pot' next week to look at newest models! Given the French attitude to cars in general and to 'French' marques like Renault, Peugeot and Citroen, I'd have thought that it would be hard for the Yeti to make headway against the Renault/Dacia Duster, of which there are countless numbers around here.

I see no French Yetis when in our place in Vienne. See very few locally registered Skodas in fact but dozens of Dusters. Mine wil be in Loudun next week some time.

Locals around me are impressed with my  yeti, but I think its price is high cf UK, and other more local marques also talking today to a friend ,apparently Renaults have a cr*p reputation with the bretons

Have been reading that PSA have been having financial difficulties , along with falls in car sales, i believe that now over 51% is owned by China.

I suspect that Skoda (VAG) can see a wounded animal slowly dying, although the french government will probably still try to keep it going.

With Dacia being owned & all the parts coming from renault that might just save them, in the same way Skoda has helped boost VW.
