what should i do

Featured Replies

Just got my new 'wheels' last week. Been beavering away ever since.

Done so far

1. HU changed out for JVC KD-LH3101 has dedicated sub out and 2 (phono outs?)

2. New Parcel Shelf (no 6*9's)

Wanting to add a sub to the boot which is where I need the help

at the moment this is it

amqm8m

boring I know

have been out with the tape measure and this is what I came up with

amqnm0

(yes I am a Photoshop god!)

as you can see I thought I would put the sub box on the left as there is more floor space. spare wheel is under the red floor.

I can build the box myself to suit.

I can get 1.25 cub ft at a squeeze. (Not wanting to get into fg)

thinking a single 12" sub. is this enough volume?

Want to be able to remove the sub easily so if I do need a complete boot it

i'd say a 10"not a 12" and i would highly recommnend a pair of apline dual voice coil items very good, 300W RMS too. how about his together??

both very capable :)

cable wise get one of these if you can, way over built for your needs but a good price for what you get and always roof for more ;)

HTH :)

forgot to say that are truely a photoshop genious :)

Some of the better wiring kits on fleabay look ok but no personal experience. It's only for a sub so any 1/2 descent phono cables will do the job.
