Bought a smaller drive belt 976mm to miss air con out due to it not working and has never worked and started squealing but can't get it on thanks ash

I don't quite see the point of that. 

 

You bought a smaller bet purely because your air con does not work and you wanted to miss the pully out.. 

 

Why not just buy the correct belt. Weather the air con works or not you know the belt it correct for that engine. If you should ever want to repair whatever problem you have with your air con, or if someone buys your car in the future and would like to do the same then the correct belt would be already fitted. 

I want to do the same but am going to remove the aircon too

Think he wants to miss the aircon pulley out because it's squealing. I don't think it's a very good idea myself.

I know we're your coming from but the noise is terrible there was a thread somewhere but it only told you the belt size needed not the route

Just seems an odd thing to do but fair enough if it works.
