Rapid Spaceback lookalike for Octy III estate

Spotted a white Skoda some distance ahead of me today, I think on the A38 somewhere in Derbyshire. At first I thought it was an Octy III estate but getting closer it turned out to be a base model Rapid Spaceback; give-away being the narrower width and shorter rear glazing.

First one I've seen on the road and unlike those in the showroom it didn't have the glass boot or roof, hence it's similarity to our Octy.
