Vrs owners running apex lowering springs

Featured Replies

Just had a search but would like to hear some more views on these from people who have or had these fitted as a few people have said they are bouncy and since one of the main stipulations from the wife for me keeping it is to get rid of the bouncy JOMs I don't want to waste £100 on these for the ride to be the same. Ideally a set of AP coilovers would be ideal but I'm not keen on paying that much out when ive just spent £400 on a clutch and flywheel and service bits

not thought about ap shocks and springs?

Yeah I have but thought a set of springs would have a decent ride but if they're going to be bouncy may have to look at them. Are they any good?

I have apex springs and shocks, wouldnt say it is bouncy but a bit harsh and flat(compared to my mates koni srt kit). I had budget fk streets before and apex are a better ride. Ap's probably best option

I've got AP shocks and springs. They're absolutely class, can't fault them, just not enough of a drop for my personal taste

I've fitted AP's on Friday and again I can't fault them and in my opinion the drop is perfect! You also retain the OEM comfort which is a real bonus considering the mileage I do

I fitted apex to my mates fabia vrs

Ride height is very pleasing.

Around 10mm lower than eibach pro's and looks very good

Ride is very good imo. For a set of springs i think you can't really go wrong
