Engine cover foam backing

Featured Replies

Hi all, the foam/sound deadening on the underside of my engine cover is in a right sorry state and I was wondering if there was a readily available alternative i could look at replacing it with?

I have looked on ebay and found various options however they are all in the states and would cost more to ship than the actual product costs.

Has anybody ever looked in to this before?

I've ran the car/engine without the cover before and I don't know if it was placebo but I did think the cabin noise was increased. Would it make alot of difference without the foam...?
