1.4 tsi combi 3 weeks on

Recommended Posts

Well it's 3 weeks now since I picked up my 13 plate se estate. Not bad to say I just went to take a look at it along with a Rapid sport. The dealer told me they got it from skoda. It was a fleet car of some kind hence the 14,000 mls in a short space of time. I'll soon make that back as I only do about 6 to 8k per year. Apart from a few loading scratches on the top rear bumper it's in top condition. I was a bit apprehensive buying an ex fleet car after being stung 3 years ago with a mondeo titanium x sport which I later found had, had a respray down one side for whatever reason. Anyway I got a good price for my 1.2 yeti and i'm financing the rest of the car. I'm glad I got the 1.4. It matches my old Ford on paper for speed and economy and the interior quality is fantastic. I even enjoy the eco mode around town. It makes for a nice relaxing drive. I haven't experienced any bad road noise which some people have mentioned and the massive boot is great. The only problems I found are the touchscreen which sometimes after start up seems to work by itself changing stations and a rattle/vibration after start up which goes when the clutch peddle is depressed. I'm off to the dealer soon to get it checked out. Overall it's a great car and I hope I have many happy years with it.
