I have a Fabia 2 VRS and a VCDS. When i go the car i made a couple of changes, steering assist etc.

however i enabled anti hijack as i thought "quite a good safety feature".

However SWMBO does not like this as a "feature" so off i dutifully went to turn it off.

However, even though i have set it back to 0 i cannot turn the bloody thing off !!!!!!

any help or suggestions gratefully received.

Have you changed both the auto UNLOCK and auto LOCK back to zero, in both channels.

 

Do you click the 1 to 0, then TEST then SAVE ?

 

is it full VCDS as the issue might be the software/hardware if its a knock off one.  I'd be wary of trying to fiddle with any part of the car with a knock off cable just in case, especially airbag section!

Hi Devontopia, it's a full version not a knock off.

Following some received motivation earlier, I tried again and set everything to do with lock, unlock, one click opening back to zero (pretty much what you just suggested) and it seems to have taken.
