2010 Octavia Bolero Ipod

Featured Replies

Someone must have the answer somewhere. I have 2010 Octavia Bolero head unit, steering wheel control for telephone bluetooth connection for phone no problem. Armrest auxiliary 3.5 jack plug works mp3 through aux port. The BT media greyed out on the media screen. I would like to know how to go about connecting ipod so that it can be controlled from the head unit and if possible get the bluetooth media working. After searching the net and talking with a local auto electrician I have not found the answer.

You will need the bluetooth module for BT media/hands free.

As for the ipod, you'd need to install the MDI interface if you want to control it via the radio

You can stream music from an iPod using the BT module, but the only control you get is next / previous track, pause / play & volume. You do get track info displayed.

MDI gives this and full control from the MFSW and also iPod charging.
