New fab vrs, how do i get ipod working?

Featured Replies

Picking the fabia vrs up in early sept. I have an (older) ipod. I want to connect it, but I would like to control it from the head unit. Are the ice links any good? Is it better to spend on an aftermarket HU (alpine) with ipod station? I didnt get the multichanger so I have saved a few hundred for this reason - advice appreciated.

Think Dension do an ICELINK solution, but tend to be geared towards car brand head units (something to do with connections).

IIRC, the CD controls then relate to playlists and tracks.........

i just muddle along with a tape deck converter........ :o

A lot of the major HU manufactuers are now doing iPod interfaces so you can control iPod via HU.

Likewise I just got a tape converter for my MP3 player.......

Think Ice -link do one. Looking into this myself. Think Connect2 also do one.
