Poor boys polish for silver car.?

Featured Replies

Hi folks im using PB black hole on my black magic roof but want to try PB polish on the rest of the car which is a silver like colour, so what PB polish product would you recommend for silver paintwork ( not wax as i have loads of wax as well as PB wax).thanx.

Why not use the black hole on the whole car?

Why not use the black hole on the whole car?

Hi dude, wanted to make the PBBH last for a while so really want to keep it for the black roof so was looking a good quality polish for the rest of the car and i was wondering was there a version of PBBH but for silver, what's a good polish that you would recommend but not to expensive.cheers!

Autoglym super resin? Easy to use, good results. Obviously not like a proper cutting polish.

Poorboys White Diamond does exist for lighter coloured cars; as opposed to Black Hole for darker paint.

But as suggested - AG SRP might be suitable also.

Looking a change from AG SRP.!

Have you not tried black hole on the rest of the car? - absolutely fine to use!

Hi O.C.D,

I'd be interested to know as well on what polish makes the silver shine and really bring out the Silver well, whether it's PBWD, PBBH, AGSP, Meguiars mirror glaze, or what? Or is it wax that does that?

It's the polish that creates the shine - the wax just adds protection.

Sorry, can't help with the silver aspect of the post, though Black Hole makes my wife's red car shine really gleam. Doesn't dull the paintwork at all.
