Blue colured Bulb in 2013 Fabia vRS Headlight

Featured Replies

I might be asking an obvious question but can someone tell me what purpose of the  'Blue' bulb is in the headlight unit of a 2013 vRS Fabia.

I have tried to get it too light but nothing I seem to switch on makes it work.

Its not parking lights as they are in the LED units in the bumper and it isn't the indicators or anything else I can think of.

It is in there to fill a redundant bulb space on a Mk2 Fabia vRS.

You will have to wire it and then enable its use if you wanted a Sidelight Bulb in there.

It does nothing.

The DRL' Unit is the Sidelights when sidelights are on, but less bright,

& also one comes on when using as a Parking light, Left or Right.

Got my 2013 VRS last week....

I also wondered what that bulb was for - I couldn't get it to light as well!

I pulled the bulb replacement bung on the rear of the headlight cluster - and it looks like it has wires connected to it.  Are you sure it cant be enabled?

It can but if enabled then LET'S are disabled so your choice. I asked my dealer and this what tech told me

Being a bit of a noob, but what are the LET'S?

Sorry, my suss age fingers! LED'S of course!

with the Monte they are enabled with the dipped and main beam but the DRL's go out on turning on the lights. However (as stated above) with the vRS they are disabled as the DRL (LED's) are permanently on.
