Well, if you,ve read my previous topic regarding this, I had it put on snap on diagnoses and was told abs control module, I replaced the abs sensor before hand, I have bought a new car so money is scarce, but receatlyI have noticed is my drive I do every Friday and Sunday is 57 mile, to my door and back, my fuel mileage reader is half of wat of it should say, my reading on the journey above is reading around 45 and my speedo is taking a jump from 15 to 30 mph on take off, I'm thinking I've some other sort of problem or I've two probs on my hands, any help wud be most appricated, cheers michael, ps have checked all other suggestions, just don't want to fit a part that is,nt the problem

Having only worked on HGV's regarding ABS problems,

When the car was put on the diagnostics, did it tell you which sensor was at fault, or just an axle? Did the Mechanic test drive the vehicle with the diagnostics checking the consistency of the readings?

what is the recommended air gap on the skoda? is the sensor pushed to far in or not enough?  both effect readings. Condition of the ring? I've also had problems with cheap sensors giving duff readings.

can you get hold of the fault codes that was logged?
