'60 VRS TDI DSG Noisy Flywheel - should I be worried?

Just had an epic service on my Octy which cost a fortune :-( but was advised of a noisy flywheel. Hadn't noticed it so can't be that noisy. Should I be worried about this? Is my lovely VRS about to go up in a cloud of smoke? Thanks!

My 2006 2.0 TDI DSG with 80,000 miles has had a noisy flywheel for the last 30,000 miles or so.

It doesn't seem to have gotten much worse over this time and shows no other symptoms such as vibration or knocking under acceleration, so I am just going to continue to leave it and see how long it lasts.

I thought the DSG flywheel was redesigned in 2008 to make it last longer.....clearly not!

Oil pressure sensor failure twice in 3 weeks

Hi. I was recovered to a dealership 3 weeks ago after going into limp mode EPC and getting an Oil pressure sensor failure warning. A blade type fuse was replaced and car returned to me. After 3 weeks and 1000 miles i had identical issue and car had to be recovered again. Prior to all of this the engine had suddenly developed a very noticable clatter - initially under load but after the first sensor issue its present all the time. Skoda wont look into this unless i pay £1500 for strip down only

Six month old Combi iV...driving today, my head's up display seemed to go off. Actually it's gone dim, possibly might mode. In full sunshine. Tried turning it on and off (it does but remains virtually invisible). Tried changing brightness up and down. Car on and off. Sometimes there's a green line or two reflected on the right of the (dim) notifications. Anyone else? What it has shown me is how much I use it!

My wife needs an operation. On completion she will have to sit in the back seat with her legs across the seat so she can be comfortable on longer journeys. As she will be sort of the wrong way round she needs a bit of extra length to the seatbelt to get it fastened around her lower body and legs. I've looked for seatbelt extenders and so far All the seatbelt tongues don't seem to match the Skoda ones and just for fun the Skoda Enyaq has different shaped tongues on the window seats to the centre

Hey guys, Sadly it's looking like my Octavia days which have been pretty brilliant could be at an end, unless I can find a replacement engine. Looking like a blown head gasket/cracked/warped head so it's not driveable now and boiling away (95C+ even without the thermostat in). It's also had a burning engine oil issue for years. It's a 110 ASV engine. So my options are: Say goodbye to my brilliant Octavia ☹️ Try and find a replacement engine, throw it in and hope. Downsides are obviously the
