Hi,

I have two codes that come up intermittently, that appear to be Central locking Switch Contacts - Sporadic 006-Short to Plus (1137) and 9299 does not appear to have any definitions. I clear then, but they come back in a few days normally, particularly the 1137 on, but not always the 9299.

To be honest the 1137 seems to mean different things depending on where you look on the net! Above was the description from my code reader.

Any ideas on what could be the problem and which lock this might be referring to, assuming it is correct, and also what the other coder is?

This is the Ross-Tech Wiki description for the first fault code; I can't find any reference to the second. I would recommed getting a VCDS scan done.

Yes, that's the confusing thing as some forums say it is electrical and central locking, just like my reader. I think it might refer to the hatch (the 006 reference in the code), as the 1137 generally returns when I use the boot regularly.

 

As you say, the other code is a mystery.
