Hi hope for some help my fuel gauge stopped working car had not moved for about a week battery was low so I left it ticking over for about 20 mins or so ,jumped in car tonight and fuel gauge not working now anybody had same problem cheers

silly question, it does have fuel in it right? (I've done this before - lol)

if you can find the sender unit at the tank and test it with a multimeter it may be the problem. or it could be a loose connection. check all the wiring from tank to dash. note the colour at the tank and follow it. checkng for breaks or bad connections.
