Been running Miller's for quite a while now and although the issue went away / diminished for a bit, it is still there and now worse than ever.

Time to trade in for a Yeti me feels...

TBH I don't think any amount of cleaning is going to fix this.

I've checked the timings and the figures look worse than before:

At idle injection quantity deviation:

Cyl 1: -0.19 mg/str

Cyl 2: 0.02

Cyl 3: -0.16

Cyl 4: 0.33

At 1600 /min:

Cyl 1: -0.54 mg/str

Cyl 2: 0.07

Cyl 3: -0.14

Cyl 4: 0.59

Anyone got thoughts on this as the engine sounds much worse now on cold start up. Something is definitely going worse.

The figures you are looking at are telling you what the injectors need to keep the engine in balance at idle, if they add up to close to zero the injection system is fine. In your idle figures that is what you are getting.

I have drove overall a million miles in diesel cars over the past thirty years, most of it with supermarket fuel, l have nevet had to use a additive.

Their is no misfire detector on your car, why do you believe you have misfire, could the noise be a faulty a faulty flywheel, glow plugs staying on to long, turbo faulty,

Thanks for the explanation of the figures. Always keen to lean something new.

As well as injectors it could be faulty turbo, failing tandem pump, stretched cambelt or early DMF failure.

I'm trying to eliminate possibilities so that I can get some idea as to how expensive it's going to be to fix (before I go to a garage).
