Elegance 4X4 interior

Featured Replies

Hey,

My interior is borderline horrific yellow/tan. Anyone have any recommendations on what I can swap out that fit's in the estate. I'm sure the salon type in black would fit but does it's seats fold like the estate?

What's the big deal with airbags, I don't want to get one in the face. Does it jus unplug and then you remove the seat?

Cheers

if BossFox had an old Octy he'd happily have your tan interior :D

The airbags unplug underneath the seats.

Ha!

He would be welcome to them.

The hatch seats fold as the estate ones

Seat leon cupra seats fits nicely. I have them in my octy estate

Certainly with the steering wheel airbag, they suggest disconnecting the battery 30 mins before you do anything to make sure it doesn't go off.....

Cheers guys,

Cupra seats are a possibility as if I can black/yellow ones it will blend easier with this interior.

Additionally!

Do the air bags matter?

If I put no airbag seats in does it screw up the rest of the system?

Lots of standard gray interriors go straight to the dump when these cars are scrapped

If you can find a donor, you can fit entire interior - eg carpets, doors cars, lower plastic trim round the dash area, etc

I think it does now

MOT regs have changed for airbags

All decent mk4 seats have side airbags

I have some black leather seats from a mk 4 Golf for sale if you are interested?
