Skoda Octavia 11

I had to change the clocks in my car and also changed the ecu to work with the clocks but couldn't start the car due to immobiliser kicking in so I figure I have the get the clocks reprogrammed so put the old clock and ecu bk in but then got power steering light amber and heavy steering , plugged in vag 305 to try do diagnostic but showing no fault , anybody got any ideas as I'm totally bewildered at the moment thank you in advance.

If you have had the clocks disconnected you need to perform basic settings on the steering as it's basically forgotten it's limit of travel etc.

 

You may get away with just turning onto full lock in both directions to reset.

No that didn't work any other ideas , I tried locking the steering wheel both ways and restarted the car and no joy and unfortunately I hadn't got a clue about the link it was all double Dutch to me lol thanks in advance jason
