Vrs washer bottle help!

Featured Replies

Filling up my screen wash tonight and it all poured out from the engine tray!!

So looks like its a bumper off hobbies! I've got headlight washers as well so that's the 5.5 l tank I need! I can't find 1 anywhere, has any1 else found or replacd there one?

When you get round to this, fancy taking some pics of the level sensor, its location etc please? Sure there's summet up with mine but like to have an idea of what I'm looking for before I start.

Thanks for the replies, the walk through guide is great!

Any1 know here to get one of these?

hiya buddy, I had the same happen on my vrs after leaving it with some ham handed "so called" mechanics for a service. Picked the car up and it bleeped to say it was out of water. Turned the car back around and got them to fill the bottle and it all dumped out the bottom left of the car instantly... To which they said it was like it when I took it there! I think I may have noticed that!!

Anyway... I took my front passenger wheel off and removed the torx for the arch liner and pulled it back. You can see the bottom of the washer bottle from there so no need to remove the whole bumper.

You could see at the very base of the washer bottle there was a plastic "lug" with a tee piece that some pipes connect to.... Tht plastic lug had popped out of its housing slightly and just needed to be snapped back in.

Once I did that it was fine again.

Sorry I've not probably explained very well.... But, if you pull back the arch liner and then put some water in the washer bottle I'm sure you will see where it's coming from.

Hope you get it sorted buddy.
