Looking around gibralter today, one of the shops had an advert for the Pioneer DEH-P70BT headunit. Sadly they wont have any till next week because its a new model.

The spec looks interesting, and I quiet like the idea of using the headunit as a handsfree kit for my bluetooth phone. Looking around the web looks like the cost is 280-300 which doesnt sound like a bad price.

I wonder what it would look like in the boxster dash and how easy it will be to connect to the oem upgraded sound package with the external amplifier.

What does everyone else think, would it be worth getting.

A couple of my friends have that head unit now, and its not too bad. The brushed finish does suit most cars. However the screen quality is a bit lame. If thats not a big issue, then its an ok head unit. It is pretty much a standard Pioneer head unit, just with bluetooth built-in.
