Team valley tuning - Newcastle

Featured Replies

Will be fitting my xman turbo soon, opting for the pd170 hybrid'ish turbo.

Will have a cone in a box air filter.

Full piper decat exhaust.

Forge fmic

Going for a custom remap so wanting to know what power I'm expected to get and has anyone used them before?

Currently Running 170bhp or so I'm told now.

Eh, are they actually in team valley? I was just there this morning at Halfrauds.

I've never seen or heard of them.

Yeah, here's a link to the website.

Two garages I've worked at in the past used them for all the remapping but never had any before or after drives or long term responses.

IIRC they're mentioned on the sign you drove past on the way in/out of retail world if you came in from Dukes Way along with a load of other business' that people tend not to notice.

Ahh, they're hidden off to the right as you come in!  You'd probably have more luck finding out about them from asking the lads who spend all night flying up and down the strip lol.

I had one of xmans 170 hybrids and got a map from faboka, you should see 190bhp+ :)

Any other mods with yours?

Did they say that was pushing it or?

I'd get down to Stokesley depending on where you are and see John at Big Fish Tuning. Know a lot of people who've got maps from him and would recommend his work.

Team valleys only five minutes away so that's why I'll be using that, big fish is about an hour and a half drive so more than I can be botherd to go!

Airtec fmic, panel filter, egr delete, the maximum it can run is 1.8 bar and that's pushing it, I don't think you'll see over 200bhp init, I never got mine on a rolling road but it wasn't exactly slow but neither did it feel "quick quick" but for the money you can't go wrong :)

Yeah, I noticed he said the max boost is 1.76. I'll stick to 1.7 then I guess, rather a few less bhp than another knackerd turbo!

Will see what I can get out of mine then I guess.
