Finally the Escort MK 2 is ready and has been entered into a rally next weekend. A full rebuild with nothing left untouched.

 Engine is a Red Top Vauxhall, dry sumped and producing about 265bhp, here is a little clip of it running, should have more footage next week when we are back from the rally.

Our car is gravel stage rally car so tarmac isn't our bag!  It would suit Andy a mate of mine though, this is his car.

 

Here is the MK 1 out in Kielder this weekend at the Pirelli International rally. Finished 6th in class I believe.
