new front mounted intercooler

Featured Replies

Got rid of the small toyosports front mount and ordering one of these.. measurements are a great deal larger than the toyosports cooler in particular height.!

And seen as I am about to wide mouth my front bumper next week, this will fill the gap quite nicely.

Has 2.5' ports so good to go

What you think chaps?

Where do you get all the silicon hoses from? Is there a kit you can buy?

I swear that looks like the same cooler that was doing the rounds 8 years ago when I had my 200sx running stage 3, pretty sure branded as xs power coming from the states. Looks exactly the same shape. Good stuff for the little cash they go for.

I'll be going fmic at some point, are these an 'easy fit' size compared to the smaller toyo coolers (I appreciate that fabrication is required which ever route) or is it a nightmare? I do like the wide mouth look though :) will this size fit without going wide mouth?

Just  a few 45's a few 90's and a couple of straight joiners..

I have some proper hose clamps and longlife are going to make me a hard pipe setup utilising my silicone bends ect...

I what I can see, this size cooler can be fitted without wide mouth yes but... from my own observation, not much point if you are not removing the number plate part of the bumper ect as the top half of the cooler won't be in the flow of air as it would in affect be blokes by the number plate and bumper...
