left side clunk

Featured Replies

Gettin a slow speed clunk when turning sharp right on the left side. Had a look and bushes seam in good nick. Cv boots ok and cv join seams ok, any ideas?

I have a similar clunk, Skoda tell me there's play in the top mount - it's going in for the work under warranty in a couple of weeks. Will see if that fixes it.

If it's a repetitive clunk it sounds likely that the CV joint is worn, if it's just the one clunk it could be a worn ball joint.

Just to update my NS top mount was changed under warranty and the clunk on low speed turning and going over kerbs/speed bumps is now gone.

have you checked the front springs are sitting properly in the top mount?
