Anyone with a series-60 nokia phone use it for watching video?

Have quite a lot of stuff on my PC at home that I could (in theory) copy to the memory card on my phone and watch, with suitable software, but was wondering if anyone else already does this.

If so...

1) What software do you use (so far, I've looked at stuff like SmartMovie)

2) Is the picture quality any good?

Any ideas? No probs with actually buying some software, but only if it's up to the job...

Pic quality is selectable and depending on the bitrate and power of your phone (series 60 phones have different speed CPU's) then you can lose sound sync sometimes, but its apparent in any convertor unfort.

That appears to convert to 3GPP format? Is it any good? Will have to give it a whirl later tonight...

The Smartmovie player can handle divX, etc (and comes with a PC converter to downsize videos before you transfer them...)

3gpp is MP4 video optimised for phones. Looks ok on the phone but pants on a PC

I would use the smartmovie but am unsure the file size comparison to 3GPP - so if anyone knows i would be interested to know
