I wanted to know if the turbo from the engine code BKD, will fit the 1.9tdi octavia which I believe is engine code BKE (not certain)

The turbo is comjng from a 2.0tdi 140 and the octavia is 1.9tdi 105

Theres a chance it could mate but it would need a little research, I put an A4 2.0TDI turbo on my 1.9TDI Passat which are longitudinal mounted. In the case of what I did I just had to get a blank for the EGT probe hole, adjust the actuator and modify the turbo intake pipe. This however was a tried and tested mod by others. Whether its do-able on the transverse platform I don't know. Are you doing it as a mod or just because you need a new turbo and have one from a BKD available cheap?
