Re applying AF toughcoat

Featured Replies

I have applied two ot three coats of AF tough coat sealent to my new white Yeti vehicle after the correct preparation.

I am currently using Sonax BSD after washing.

How long should I expect to get decent protection from these products and when should I think of reapplying the AF toughcoat.

When reapplying a sealent after using a QD like Sonax BSD should I remove them with suitable products like AF tough prep before.?

Thanks in advance.

If you use Sonax over it..The AF will last a few months if not longer

When re applying AF..Prepare the paintwork with a cleanser or polish first

I use AF Tough coat too, so, what exactly do you mean by `cleanser`, Chris?

Regards

Mike.

Ah...I have `AF Tough Prep` which I think is also a `cleanser` then...so I'll use that.

Thanks, Chris.

+1 to this, tough prep is designed to pave the way for tough coat

Autobrite have the same in their Hellshine range, Eliminator looks just like a Tough Prep copy and goes before Abyss
