Featured Replies

Frid the rwyb day at santapod 1/4 mile , and noticed on the vids I didn't really have any big puffs if black smoke , it's not an issue but just wondered if it was because I fittied an egr delete?

It'll be because you don't have a map that's massively over fuelling

Big puffs of smoke arnt good :D

Feel privledged to have a correctly fueled map.

As said more smoke is a bad thing.

Cool that's good then , cheers chaps

Going to share the videos :D

Is smoke just wasted fuel then?

Id hate to have a mapped mk1 vrs. Im OCD on the cleaning. They look a bloody nightmare to keep the back end clean haha

So would I   :giggle:

It's a good thing though. Smoke is bad. When the turbo actuator went on my 330d, the smoke it poured out was unreal (it had fuel, but no boost/air to combust it) so just smoked massively.

I have had my Fabia remapped and now hybrid and neither caused huge amounts of smoke tbh. The back of the Fabia does get dirty in general though

Im convinced the back of the fabia is the most powerful vacuum known to man
