When I play audio from my phone using bluetooth through the PID I find the balance is off - to the left of the sound stage. On occasions it is fine. Usually it's not. The radio is ok.

 

If I go to phone and voice command, the sound stage shifts to the centre (or wherever it should be) and all is well until the unit is switched off.

 

I have used two different phones, an Android Nexus 5 and my Windows Phone Nokia Lumia 920. It's exactly the same with both.

 

I can live with it, especially since I have a reliable method of sorting it by accessing the phone voice menu.

 

Anyone else had this problem?

Do you mean no right side sound and only left front speaker works ?

It's as if you turned the balance to the left, so the left speaker is playing at 75% volume, the right 25%. Only happens with bluetooth.

I have this occasionally. It's the PID mount not making a perfect connection. If I wiggle it all the other speakers come on.

Doesn't happen on radio obviously. It's only when I'm connected via BT.

Ah! I cleaned the contacts and made sure it was attached firmly and straight away it worked as it should. Thanks Stormchaser!

I find cattle grids and speed bumps does that to mine then I jiggle the base and all is well.
