Order time for new Octy iii

Featured Replies

Hello. So if I ordered an Octy elegance 2.0 diesel tomorrow with no extras apart from metallic paint, is the waiting time around 6 months?

Probably not quite that long, my guess is the less extras the swifter the build?

Hope so. Didn't realise it would be anywhere near that though.

Ask the dealer for what is in bound.

I was quoted 5 months for a custom factory build but 3 weeks later I'm driving one.

As Ferret says.

If you arent fussed about the colour, you may find one already sitting in Emden waiting for one careful owner. There were a handful of 2.0D Elegance models waiting in Emden when i ordered mine.

Thanks for the replies. I like white and race blue so will find out tomorrow.

Its only the vrs that has the long long wait. Its merely long on other specs  :giggle:

Unfortunately this is still the norm. I was an early bird and ordered a vRS TSI combi with a few options in August last year, and got it 5 months later in Jan.

I've been advised by 2 different unrelated dealers that for my spec Octavia Elegance 2.0 TDI will be 10-11weeks lead time. I'll be adding Race Blue and Winter Pack to mine.

I was told yesterday that an elegance has a delivery time of 12 to 16 weeks depending on options, and this is slowly improving. Vrs was quoted at 26 weeks and worsening.
