LED Lights

Featured Replies

Hi all.

I have bought some LED lights off ebay and for some reason they are constantly on but only dull.

I have added a photo to show this issue.  Does anyone know why this is happening and if there is a fix?

Many thanks

It's just one of the things with LED's I'm afraid.

Which Octavia? (Pre or FL)

Which fitting are we looking at in the picture?

A little more information would help, it might be worth updating your profile with some basic details of your car.

What light are we looking at here, internal or external.

Do you have the link to the eBay listing?

Google 'induced voltage' for more information.

Sorry all. I have a 2008 pre facelift VRs diesel. The picture is the centre light in the front, but it's all internal lights. I can't find the eBay link sorry

Ah, I had this with my first set of LEDs ('07 Elegance). Swapped them out for a set from FIZMOs from eBay. Not had a problem since. :)

FIZMOS work excellent in mk2 and mk2 fl

I used these for the map lights, puddle lights, boot lights and the footwell lights.....

...and the requisite lengths of festoon for the door lights and interior lights (front and back)

They are not designed for constant use. I used them (with resistors) as the front side lights: very nice light, but died after 3-4 months
