Windows 7 background piccies

Featured Replies

I've chosen the pictures of the UK to greet me on my desktop background.

1 of 4...or is it 5.... different ones every time I switch on.

Glorious, but no mention as to where they were taken.   :wonder:

Anyone know?

Obviously i knew Tower Bridge and Stonehenge, and knew Giants Causeway but couldn't remember what it was called.

Love the 'some boats somewhere'.  :D

My GUESS is Ullswater.

Did you get these via Microsoft?

Looking at 3 different computer brands they all come loaded with different pictures, but all say in settings they're Microsoft/OS images rather than the manufacturer.

So assume you can add them from Microsoft?

G-man, they are the six preloaded desktop backgrounds in Win 7; There's apparently ones of other countries but they're hidden in the OS files somewhere. I did read how to access them (in search type $$_Globalization) but no results.
