Price difference on heated seats?

Featured Replies

Evening Chaps,

Firstly let me apologize for hijacking your corner on Briskoda. But I have a question for all you guys.

I am returning back to the Superb after a years ownership of a Mk 3 VRS at the end of this year. I went on the Skoda site and built my Superb SE selected heated front and rear seats at £360, not bad I thought until I built my Elegance again selected the heated seats f&r this time they cost £200. I have checked a couple of times to make sure my eyes were'nt playing tricks on me and that is the price. So my question to you knowledgeable people is why the difference in price ?.

Because the elegance already has heated front seats as standard

Fronts are standard on the elegance so maybe £200 covers only the rears...?

Yeah the elegance comes with front ones already. Rears are an option, great for passengers. My mum loves them for her back.

Their great if its a cold winters day and your soaked through by wind and rain. You get in pop your seat on and warm everyone up quickly, or some people use them to keep their take out warm on the way home!

By the way, what's brought you back to a s2fl? Be interesting to read why?

Cheers chaps for your replies most appreciated.

SWMBO and I (swmbo basically) decided as we are returning to the UK after serving over here in Germany, that the Superb is the way to go for a few reasons.

The superb is a fantastic long distance cruiser the VRS deffo is not.

My son is 6ft 1" and still growing so the rear space in the Superb wins again.

Tax free status. Elegance with loads of extras on comes out at 31k tax paid for me the price is 20k (VRS is nearly the same tax free price with nearly the same extras)

I know the new Superb comes out next year unfortunately I will miss out as back in the UK by then.

Once again cheers for the replies.
