Just got a new 272 DSG Superb with start stop and an electronic handbrake. What's the technique for creeping into a parking space against say a wall or another car ahead? (I've never had an auto before) I've not tried yet but I've got visions of pulling in, stopping a little short, deciding I need another foot forward and with the stop start engaged and the handbrake on the only way to deactivate both is depressing the accelerator. Cue a lurch forward using up all of the foot I want plus more and banging into the obstacle ahead?

Saying goodbye to my 150 2.0 TDI L&K estate on Thursday and picking up my my new 272 sportline plus hatch. Can't wait, reading all the feedback on here is making me very excited

Was told by Skoda that it was needed as part of the service schedule and as part of the PCP deal the car needs to be serviced in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines

****! In the back of my head this has always been the niggle.... I'm on a 150 2.0tdi so the seat's performance is obviously gonna be worlds apart but when that novelty wears off I'd be gutted having paid a lot of money for a car I wish was as nice as my superb. I've really gone and shot myself in the foot by buying an L&K estate, hard act to follow!

Assuming they've regassed it and somehow allowed it to empty itself, is there potential for any damage from it having been run empty or empty enough to not work?

After a mk2 and now mk3 superb I think I'm going for a Seat Leon Cupra 300 estate next. Can't think of anything from Skoda to top my mk3 2.0tdi L&K estate so not gonna try and risk being disappointed

Took in my 2.0TDI for a AC recharge last week as part of the service schedule. AC was working fine beforehand now when the AC is switched on there's just a lot of hissing/whistling from inside the dash somewhere and no cooling of the air. £140 for Skoda to break my AC.... Not chuffed. It's booked back in for a week tomorrow. Anyone with any thoughts? What could the hissing mean?

Nope, I'm on a huawei p8 and I just now use Spotify through Bluetooth. Not great but it works.

when i use spotify through android auto, if the audio fader in the settings is set at the centre position the music is distinctly front biased with very little coming out from the rear speakers . To fix it i need to go into the audio settings and shift the fader at least 3/4 of the way to the rear which then makes it all quite quiet and the volume needs cranked up using my phone to play the same music on bluetooth, or using the Radio/CD/SD card and it all works fine with no fettling of the fader settings. Any ideas? We've got a 2017 L&K with the Canton speaker setup.

Spotify for us is the big advantage

does anyone know if the fancy pants DCC suspension system on the L&K has drop links? our mk2 skoda wore through its drop links (pillow shaped speed bumps galore where we live) and now in our 6 mo old 7000mile mk3 has the same kind of slight knocking on bumps and potholes. it's not terribly noticeable at the moment but having had it before its definitely the noise that started with our mk2. also, any idea if this is a warranty part, bit of me suspects no...? Cheers

I've switched off all the POIs from the map settings but I'm still getting POIs listed in the split screen maneuvers list. All I want is the next 3 turns and their distances but I get upcoming petrol stations or motorway services which I don't care about. Any ideas.?

New frame rebuilt, back out on the road tomorrow.
