Sold my VRS

Featured Replies

The VRS is going after nearly 7yr and 82k miles.

Wanted an estate with roof bars and bit more mpg.

Plus the VRS was starting to rust on the sills and was due tax, service now and then next year another cambelt service.

Have gone for..... 2010 Honda Accord Touring 2.2 DTECH ES-GT.

I think I'll miss having a proper fast car but I was getting tired of the road noise and a few new rattles that were appearing.

Accord was £12k got offered £4k for the VRS, not much haggling but got the warranty extended to 3yr for another £300.

As long as the VRS goes through its MOT on Tuesday...

I will be sad to see it go. It's been a good car and will probably be my only ever properly new car.

Hopefully you won't mind be continuing to hang around and get 10k posts.

I'm still allowed in and I don't have a Skoda any more.

Our last car had the 2.2 Honda diesel engine in and it's a god 'un.  It won't stir any emotion other than satisfaction at the pumps and it'll be better screwed together than the Skoda.  Enjoy the new car.

Got mine back after just 5 days as the guilt was too much to bare.  :D

this is far far far more than a dedicated Skoda forum now.

It's just one great big happy nattering family in fact <cough>... most of the time. :moon:
