Alloy wheel refurb/powder coating - what colour ?

Featured Replies

Been to a number of local places to have a look at their operation and costs.

For my 18" Neptunes, tire removed, stripped, base coat, top coat, lacquered, tires re-fitted and balanced - from £40-£75 per wheel.

I am happy with the price but what colour to go for ?

My car is Silver, the standard silver Neptunes look nice, but I'm tempted to go for Black, Graphite or Anthracite.

Anyone out there with these combinations !

Mine are refurbished by The Tyre Specialists

They are in Black Chrome:

£300

Whatever you do, please don't go for black...

My 16" Winter alloys are black:

Nice steelies :)

They are Audi A6 16" alloys refurbished in Black powdercoat....perfect for the winter months and don't look as bad in the smaller size IMO

I was being sarcastic. IMO black just makes the wheel disappear, blend with the tire, and turns your alloy (especially a flat face wide spoke one) into a steelie.
