This is the sort of welcome i expect when arriving in a new country! Currently staying in Thessaloniki, Greece for a family holiday (Sani resort - highly recommended) and the very first taxi I saw upon exiting the airport last Thursday was this mk3 Octavia. It looked totally uniquie amongst the sea of E-class Mercs - literally the only non merc in the taxi car park area of some 40+!!

Looks like they are the Universal Taxi, I saw plenty of the Mk2s in Crete last year and saw a couple of Mk3 Taxis in Tenerife about 6 weeks ago.

Not sure about the colour scheme on this one though..

I also expected to see loads but at Thessaloniki airport at least it was literally the only one when we happened to walk out. Yeah, I don't think the white roof wrap with black sunroof and blue paint will catch on over here tbh. All of the transfer cars for our pickups were brand new e class Mercs - 20k km on the clock - and there was me hoping we'd be jumping into that lone octy!!
