Hi, first post as new to this forum, so please be gentle folks !!

 

I'm changing from a fabia 11 1.9 tdi level 3 hatch over to the estate version ( need extra space as daughter off to uni ), again mk 11 1.9 tdi level 3 my biggest gripe with my car is the ride on its 'low-profile' tyres which I'm guess isn't going to be any better in the estate version

so can I fit different profile tyres or can I replace the alloys to say 15 inch and then fit a deeper profile ( is this the correct terminology ? ) tyre ?

even if you direct me to a previous post ANY help will be much appreciate

Hi mate.

Take a look at the 'rotare' wheels found on the SE and some greenline models.

Theyre 15 inch, and run 195/55/r15 tyres. So the profile is a little deeper than on your 16's.

Have a look at somewhere like mytyres.co.uk and go to the 'wheel and tyre packages' section. It shows the acceptable wheel diameter and tyre size combos
