Electrical Question

Featured Replies

I'm thinking about adding airhorns to the Octy, as I have a set sat on the shelf in the workshop, and they are good for getting the attention of the lane drifting texters.

I have found the fuse that supplies the OEM horns and this is live all the time, so, are the OEM horns fed through a relay, and if so does anyone know which/where it is?

I'm planning to use the feed to the OEM horns to fire a relay to supply the airhorns, and having had a quick look this morning, have found that the horns are mounted behind the grill, with very little access to the wiring to be able to pick a signal from here without taking the front bumper off, so am wanting to keep the job as simple as possible.

Any help would be appreciated. If anyone has access to a wiring schematic I would be able to work my way through that and answer my own questions..

Any ideas?

Thought there would have been some suggestions by now.
