Featured Replies

as per title really, been looking at this upgraded bluetooth module with part number 3c8 035 730 C.  or will 5NO 035 730 D work aswell, only really want it to make phone calls from the car etc.  the car is a 2010 skoda superb

cheers vrsadz

5n0 d should be fine if you have maxidot and being a Samsung it will probably connect in premium rsap mode as well as hands free mode. Think it is pretty much the same as a 3c8 c.

so either of the above will work fine

Yes as I say provided you have maxidot for pairing and setting it up.

yeah have maxidot with white dials. are they just plug and play or have to be coded via vcds

Does it not have a module already?

  • Author

yeah but it wont connect with my phone so was looking at seeing which is the later module that will

It should connect and allow you use a basic blutooth connection, have you tried it with a different phone?

will only connect to a nokia phone and nowt else

Yes plug and play - you just need to swap the modules over.

It will probably all work without coding too but worth checking the coding if you can.

You might get 20 to 30 quid for the old module too with a bit of luck...

cheers for that adamal

I recently connected a Galaxy Ace 3 to my 2009/10 Superb Elegance. It was a straight forward pairing according to the book using Rsap. The phone is running android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). The only problem I had was in punching in the code before it timed out.

Does it still work or have you upgraded the module

Actually vrsadz as Caspian suggests you should be able to get the phone to pair to that older module you have. It is likely to be a 5n0 a/b/c module and rSap only, but a Samsung phone should connect ok in rSap mode.

It is still worth upgrading to be honest as the older modules don't have the additional functionality of the new ones.
