vRS Exhausts

Featured Replies

Have many people bothered to change them and what are the options? Was thinking of it as I had 4 new Michelin PS3's put on this week and while the car was on the ramps for free tracking (it was spot on) I noticed the early signs of my back box starting to rust.

I'm looking into these too, like the Milltek but don't fancy £535 for one, Jetex is coming out around £430.

Any others?

I have a Miltek on mine and the centre section delete. Transforms the car IMO.

Where and how much? I presume this is cat back?

Yes cat back although it starts after the first silencer. The removal of the centre section was extra. I got the Miltek from Revolution for £530 and the centre section removal was done at a local garage (Arden Performance) for £70.

Only snag I can see is that as far as I am aware the Miltek exhaust only fits the hatch...... :-(

Longlife Exhausts would do you a custom catback like the Milltek, cheaper and you can spec it to your preference

But that's only in length? Surely they could add a bit more pipe.

There's a longlife place not far from me. Loads go there but i've never thought they'd be any good and just cheap.

It's all about choice and quality IMO. I have used Miltek on all my previous cars and found them tone spot on. Expensive yes but amazing quality.

Yeah just pointing out it won't fit off the shelf. I'm sure a competent exhaust fitting place could fit some sort of extension maybe.

So apart from Miltek and Longlife are there any other options?

Edited by MartynVRS

have you looked at Jetex?

Jetex is a good alternative

Ant ;)

How does Jetex compare to the Milltek in terms of good noise and bad noise?

Thank you

Still looking at exhaust options. Any ideas? It's a bit more difficult as it's the estate.
