Yeti FL seems very popular

Featured Replies

Just been up to Braemar for a few days (in the Fabia) and then today down to Lincoln to pick up the Octy from the dealers, as they have been trying to fix a few elec gremlins and I've lost count on the number of Yeti FL's I've pasted, plus a number of classics.

Most of those I have spotted have been the 'city' type and often a Greenline, which seem even lower than the old classic version, although I think this, is just an optical illusion.

Seeing a Yeti used to be rare now they are more common than the Octy III :giggle:

Before buying my runout model, I couldn't remember having seen a Yeti on the road down here but the 'offers' were so attractive they seem to spring up on every drive now.

An aside; moving to the country soon so decided to go the long way to our new abode from Rye to Nagambie via Bairsdale, Mt Hotham (the Great Alpine Rd) and Shepparton in my 103/140TDI 4x4 DSG which I'm thinking is euro spec SE?

Ps, is it euro scepticism that results in a mish mash of imperial and metric measurements?

[OT, Sorry!] I've driven out of Melbourne to Mansfield and Mt Buller (just after skiing season) - fantastic country - but sadly didn't have the chance to add the Great Alpine Road to the Great Ocean (all the way to Adelaide!).  Next time, maybe, if there is one... :S

We are going to take a run to Bournemouth when ours arrives. :envy:

In a word, by Aussie standards.....spectacular!

Small cross-overs seem to becoming more popular than cars, plenty of Qashqai, Yetis, Jukes, Mochas and Renault Captures around here. A Dealer told me the mid-size (Mondeo) car is all but finished apart from the fleet market... :|

Why would families go back to sedans?

I think that's been the case for a while now.

Any private buyers with enough money for a mid-sized car have got a lot of good options now.

Rather than a regular hatch that's popular with fleets, are everywhere and depreciate heavilly because the fleet buyers buy so many and get them so cheap.

I was surprised on Thursday last on the 200 mile round trip to Glasgow not to see any Yeti at all, even though I was certainly looking.
