55 Plate RenaultSport Clio - Factory Fitted Recaros - 71k -

Featured Replies

Up for sale is my beloved Clio 182 with factory fitted Recaro Trenlines ... bought from a reputable RenaultSport trader last August with 59k on the clock.

Decided to sell as I'm in need of a bigger car - plus doing a lot more mileage than I expected.

I've owned 3 x 1*2's and this is by far the best and strongest I've had out of all of them. Plus the Recaro's make it that bit more special

Absolutely brilliant car, excellent condition inside and out.

Now sitting at just below 71k, but may rise due to (limited) daily use.

MOT until 18th November, passed with no advisories.

Taxed until end of July.

Cam belt changed by NW Performance 08/05/10 @ 44k.

Aux belt changed as above, plus in May 2013.

Full service history - Just had a major service 24-05-14 (inc sparkplugs, brake fluid), with new Brembo HC discs and Mintex M1144 pads on the front. Stops like a 182 should!

Rear discs and pads replaced @ 59k with OEMs.

Rear tyres are Pirelli Pzeros, front tyres are Michelin PS3s - All have lots of tread.

Also had a new pre-cat lambda sensor fitted recently, the the existing pre-cat moved to post cat.

Excellent condition throughout, fair number of stone chips on the front as expected on a car it's age, and unfortunately one ding where some numpty opened their door into it (rear driver's side).
Few marks here and there, but nothing major, and again, its a 9 year old car!

No kerbing on any of the wheels.

Came from the factory with Recaro Trendlines, where too are in excellent condition. No marks / tears / wear on them.

I've replaced the poverty spec rear cup bench (std on cars with Recaros from the factory) with a 172 / 182 rear bench. The original will be included with the sale.

It has a Scorpion RS192 exhaust fitted by a previous owner, again all in excellent condition, and had new fixing brackets fitted before I bought it.

Folder full of receipts for pretty much everything ever purchased for the car both by myself and the previous owners. I get a bit OCD about this!

Two keys, both of which work.

The car has literally had no expense spared on it, and it shows.

During my ownership been meticulously cleaned and tidied, having recently spent a fortune on car cleaning products (including a DAS-6 Pro).

Bad points (there were going to be some):

1.) Ding in driver's side rear quarter
2.) Air con needs re-gassing
3.) Headlight washers don't work
4.) Normal steering wheel meltage, but thumb grips are both intact. Pictures included.

Pioneer Head Unit (parrot bluetooth and Ipod connectivity, not not controllable from steering stalk) can be included in the deal. Have the original head unit which works with the wheel controls, which will of course come in the sale.

Please pm me if you're interested, open to reasonable offers but ideally looking for £3500 which is a bit of a bargain anyway tbh. Available to go immediately.

Viewings available in evenings and weekends.
