I had my gearbox oiled changed yesterday(recall), seems slicking when changing so well worth getting done IMO.

Are you talking about a 'Service Campaign' on a DSG,

 there is 'No Recall'. showing on the VOSA Recall site'

Was it an Oil Change from Synthetic to Mineral oil & a ECU Update that was done?

 

When was your car First Registered?

& How did they let you know it needed doing, were you in to get something else done,

or did you get a Letter or Call saying there is 'A Recall.'?

Just had horton skoda ring up about a recall for the gearbox oil on my vrs. Was first registered April 2013 and built in March. Not had any issues other than not being the best for rolling starts at junctions/roundabouts
