Hi,

Can anyone help :-

I have inadvertently immobilized a car i was working on !.

Here is the saga, tried to get a dump from the engine ecu immobilser eeprom to obtain the Cars SKC code, to supply a spare key..... I WAS UNSUCCESSFUL !....please see log below showing XXXXXXXXXXXXX instead of VIN/IMMO numbers...these i have from a previous Auto Scan , further down the post.

I have used VCDS on it before and i have saved the VIN/IMMO and Soft Coding numbers , could anyone advise me of how i can reprogramme the ECU to get the VIN and IMMO to show up in the EXTRA window and get the coding proceedure ?..Please note i do not have the cars SKC number....my attempt a retriving this via the eeprom dump did not work...

Any help on this would be much appreciated,

If you need any further info eeprom dumps etc please let me know.

Try code 00031 for engine ecu

Can only be recovered by obtaining the skc number and then the ecu can be re programmed thro the immobiliser. A dealer may be able to supply SKC. Have you been using vag commander to try and obtain key code, they are not suitable for your ecu.

Hi All. Just got a 2019 Karoq 2019 SE L........i've noted other people have had an uncomvortable seat experience but its not many. The seats are nurdering my mid/upper back and I cannot find a position that works. I drive several cars each year and have been driving for over 20 years....never had anything like this happen. Hi. I've posted recently ( thanks everyone) about a worrying occasional rattle that disappears on depressing the clutch. Thanks to advice here the belt (40K 5 years) should be ok..I then thought the rattle might be the dual mass flywheel,as I had experienced this on my old T4 .However Skoda say the flywheel is solid. Trying to get more advice before splashing out on belt/clutch. Does anybody have an independent guy in the Lincoln/south Lincolnshire area please. Thanks Mick

Hi all, a question: We enjoy having a 2025 Skoda Kodiaq iV PHEV. In last year's software update, you can now choose (and it is recommended) to have the maximum charge level automatically reset to 80% after a charge. We only charge to 100% occasionally if we know we have to travel further the next day, and then the car automatically resets it to 80% for the next charge so that it never stays at 100% for long, as that would be bad. Hi, Partner acquired this 2023 1.0 Fabia last year. So far, the resistor pack for the fan has packed (!) up and the actuator for the fuel flap needed replacing. These were done under warranty. She's had the car back from its MOT and warranty work and now there's a light on the dash saying "check brake lights."
